How many push-ups should you be able to do?
Female (based on the modified push-up)
20 to 29 should be able to perform 17 to 33
30 to 39 should be able to perform 12 to 24
40 to 49 should be able to perform 8 to 19
50 to 59 should be able to perform 6 to 14
60+ should be able to perform 3 to 4
Male
20 to 29 should be able to perform 35 to 44
30 to 39 should be able to perform 24 to 34
40 to 49 should be able to perform 20 to 29
50 to 59 should be able to perform 15 to 25
60+ should be able to perform 10 to 19
This is according to the American College of Sports Medicine.
